What is Wraparound?
Wraparound is a values-driven planning and organizing process designed to support families with complex and enduring needs. Wraparound gathers together the important people in the child/youth’s life. This team called the Child and Family Team creates a plan that supports the entire family in achieving their goals.
Who is Wraparound Intended for?
Wraparound is an intense family driven intervention; the family decides whether the Wraparound process best meets the family’s needs. The criteria for Wraparound in our county is:
- Child must be age 10-21, however there are exceptions
- Child must have a Mental Health Diagnosis/Substance Abuse Diagnosis or enough information to determine a Mental Health Diagnosis is present.
- Child is currently out of the home/community or is at risk for being placed out of the home/community.
- Both the Child and the Family have been involved in previous services and the interventions have not been successful.

How Do I Refer a Family for Wraparound?
