What is Wraparound?

Wraparound is a values-driven planning and organizing process designed to support families with complex and enduring needs. Wraparound gathers together the important people in the child/youth’s life. This team called the Child and Family Team creates a plan that supports the entire family in achieving their goals.

Who is Wraparound Intended for?

Wraparound is an intense family driven intervention; the family decides whether the Wraparound process best meets the family’s needs. The criteria for Wraparound in our county is:

   How Do I Refer a Family for Wraparound?  

Anyone can refer a family to Wraparound. Wraparound referral forms can be obtained through the Yakima Valley System of Care website. You may fax completed forms to (509) 574-2928 ATTN: Veronica Guizar
